Through the window you can see Costa Rica has a unique climate, with a lot of humidity and very consistent heat. Rainy days were common on this trip, and fog can be so engulfing they have a "Cloud Forest"

I wanted to capture the warm, cozy feel for Costa Rica while staying true to the real materials and colors of Villas Palmas bedroom.

A beautiful morning in a Costa Rican flat. Largely based on the real world Villas Palmas in San Jose. I was inspired to model this on a rest day during a week long vacation in 2018. Re-rendered with HDRP in 2020.

Rendered in real-time with Unity's High Definition Render Pipeline and modelled in Blender. Textures from Substance Source.
